    Music concerts and art festivals enliven the town during the warmer months; the chamber and newpaper listings tell what's on. Some annual events: The PRCA Spring Rodeo rides in May. Pine has an arts & crafts festival on Memorial Day weekend. Rim Country Classic Car Show rides in April. Strawberry Festival in the town of Strawberry, makes merry with entertainment and arts and crafts in June two weekends after Memorial Day. Pine usually celebrates July Fourth on the weekend before, while Payson's entertainment and fireworks take place on the Fourth. The world's oldest Continuous Rodeo (since 1884), dance, and parade arrive on the third weekend of August. Rim Country Western Heritage Festival brings in cowboy poets and Western artisans on October. Pine also has an arts & crafts festival on Labor Day weekend. The Old-time Fiddlers' Contest plays on the last weekend of September. Swiss Village Christmas Lighting adds a glow on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Pine has their Tree Lighting on the first of December.
